Closet Makeover

So, after a long and dramatic internal debate, I bravely faced the chaos that was my entryway closet. My closet was bursting at the seams with all sorts of stuff. I decided it was high time to declutter that hot mess as part of my grand plan to simplify my life. It was time for a closet makeover. The metal doors - not my cup of tea so I removed them. They were dented and had a nasty habit of jamming at the worst possible moments. I pulled up the old carpet and used leftover vinyl flooring that I had. At first, I had these grand visions of turning the closet into a swanky office space, but it just wasn't the right fit for me. Nevertheless, converting a closet into an office is pretty genius, don't you think?

After some trial and error, I ended up transforming the space into a shoe sanctuary along with a spot for my gloves, scarves, and all sorts of odds and ends. I made sure everything had its proper place to avoid falling back into the abyss of clutter. To prevent history from repeating itself, I purchased a shoe storage bench from Amazon, some decorative wall shelves from the Home Depot, and some storage bins from Five Below and Ikea. Oh, and let's not forget about my resourcefulness - I put old hooks to work for hanging purses and even repurposed that random picture on the wall. Who says decluttering can't be fun, right?
